Timber Framer:

Skilled at laying-out and cutting simple and complex joinery using hand tools and power tools. The applicant must be able to read and check plans and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency during timber frame production and assembly. The applicant must be able to meet the physical requirement of timber framing, have good organizational skills. The applicant must be willing to travel to job sites and occasionally work away from home for timber frame raisings (a couple of days to a week or so). Basic computer skills are a plus. (Minimum 4 years experience in Timber Framing).

Apprentice Timber Framer (Position filled):

An entry-level timber framer with good woodworking skills, an aptitude for 3D visualization and a working knowledge of geometry and trigonometry. The applicant should gave the ability to work with basic power tools, meet the physical requirement of timber framing, and enjoy working at heights. The applicant must be willing to travel to job sites and occasionally work away from home for timber frame raisings (a couple of days to a week or so). Basic computer skills are a plus. (Minimum 4 years experience in Carpentry).

The candidates for these positions will possess excellent people/management skills, great organization, and be meticulous with details. They will be visionary and reliable.
